1- MODULE B: EU-TYPE EXAMINATION
EU type-examination is usually only used in conjunction with this module declaration covering the design stage. Notified body examines technical file and product. In addition, notified body verifies that it meets the requirements of the applicable legal procedures the product's technical file.
2- MODULE F: CONFORMITY TO TYPE BASED ON PRODUCT VERIFICATION
Covers the production phase and follows module B. The Notified Body controls conformity to type as described in the EU Type Examination certificate issued according to module B, and issues a Certificate of Conformity.
3- MODULE C1: CONFORMITY TO TYPE BASED ON INTERNAL PRODUCTION CONTROL PLUS SUPERVISED PRODUCT TESTING
Covers the production phase and follows module B. Provides for conformity with type as described in the EU Type Examination certificate issued according to module B. This module does not require a Notified Body to take action. This module result, manufacturer affixes the CE mark to the product and include in the declaration of conformity.
4- MODULE G: CONFORMITY BASED ON UNIT VERIFICATION
Covers the design and production phases. Each individual product is examined by a Notified Body, which issues a Certificate of Conformity. As a result of the tests, product must carry the CE mark.
5- MODULE A: INTERNAL PRODUCTION CONTROL
Covers internal design and production control. Declares the conformity of the product with the relevant directives. Prepare the technical documents describing the design, production and use. This module does not require Notified Body involvement.
6- SUITABILıTY OF MANUFACTURİNG PROCESS TO TYPE BASED ON QUALİTY ASSURANCE - MODULE D
For equipment that has the EU Type Inspection Certificate within the scope of Group I Category M1 and Group II Category 1; It is part of the conformity assessment procedure, where the relevant obligations are fulfilled by the manufacturer, and that they meet the requirements of the regulation applicable to the relevant products, and that the manufacturer ensures and declares the conformity of these products to the type defined in the EU type examination certificate only at his own responsibility.
7- TYPE COMPLIANCE BASED ON PRODUCT QUALITY ASSURANCE - MODULE E
For internal combustion engines and electrical equipment with EU Type Examination Certificate within the scope of Group I Category M2 and Group II Category 2; It is only part of the conformity assessment procedure, where the obligations specified by the manufacturer are fulfilled and the relevant products meet the requirements of the regulation applied to them and that the manufacturer meets and declares that the type of product defined in the EU type examination certificate is only at his own risk.
